ScarmVoice Support

ScarmVoice is a private, password-protected chat and voice room. It runs as an iPhone app, a Windows app, and in the browser at scarmonit.com/messageboard — all three share the same messages, channels, and voice room.

Contact

park3rdunned@gmail.com

One person reads this address. Expect a reply within a couple of days — reports of abusive content are handled first, normally within 24 hours.

Reporting objectionable content

Tap and hold any message and choose Report. Tell us briefly what is wrong and it is sent for review. Reported content is assessed and removed if it breaks the rules, and the person who posted it can be ejected from the room. You can also email the address above with a description and roughly when it was posted.

Blocking someone

Tap a person's name and choose Block. Their messages are hidden from you immediately, everywhere in the app, and you will not hear them in voice chat. You can unblock them again from Settings at any time.

The rules

There is no tolerance for harassment, threats, sexual content involving minors, or content that is illegal where you live. Breaking these gets content removed and access revoked.

Common questions

I do not have the password.

The room is private. Ask whoever invited you — there is no public sign-up and passwords are not issued by email.

Voice connects but I cannot hear anyone.

Check the mic permission (iOS Settings → ScarmVoice → Microphone), then leave and rejoin voice. On iPhone, the Speaker button on the Voice screen switches the output between the earpiece and the speaker. The Voice screen also shows live send/receive counters, which tell you whether audio is actually flowing.

I am not getting new messages.

Look at the badge in the top corner. Live means the realtime connection is up. If it says Offline, the app falls back to refreshing periodically — messages still arrive, just less promptly. Force-quitting and reopening usually restores it.

How do I delete something I posted?

Tap and hold your own message and choose Delete; it is removed for everyone. To remove everything you have ever posted, email the address above. See the Privacy Policy for what is stored and for how long.

Getting the apps

The Windows app is linked from the top of the message board and updates itself. The iPhone app is installed from the App Store — the message board shows a QR code to scan once you are signed in.
